Delhi High Court extended police protection to the Chiranjeevi’s newly married daughter and son-in-law by another two weeks since there is delay in getting security for them in Hyderabad.
In her affidavit to the HC, Srija wants her father to make arrangements for their travel back to Hyderabad and that Chiranjeevi should receive them at the airport. Bench openly rejected her request.

A case had been against Sireesh Baradwaj registered at the Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar police station on a complaint of the girl?s father Arun Kumar under section 363. Venkatratnam, inspector of the S.R. Nagar police station, said the youth was arrested on March 30, 2002 and was in jail for a week. He was subsequently released on bail, because Arun Kumar and his daughter did not give witness. The kidnapping case was filed by Arun Kumar on March 27, 2002, and the police arrested Sireesh Baradwaj and his friends in front of a Lodge. The 15 year girl was returned to her parents.
Admitting that a case was registered against his son, Bharadwaj?s father Venkatramna Murthy claimed that the two had eloped. He was reportedly booked in another fake passport case.
