Tamil composer Ilayaraja Ilayaraja and acedamy award winner A R Rahman were both honored with Padma Bhushan Award which is the country’s third highest award honoring civilians.
Ilayaraja debuted with “Annakkili” in 1976 and won the Indian National Film Award three times for Sindhu Bhairavi, Rudraveena and Saagara Sangamam.
