Mirchi Movies Limited to produce 3 Tamil films

The entertainment wing of the Times Group (Radio Mirchi is also part of this group), Mirchi Movies Limited is venturing into Tamil and planning big. As a first step Mirchi Movies Limited has tied up with Prakash Raj?s Duet Movies and Moser Baer India Limited to co-produce “Vellitherai“, directed by Viji.

“Kaadhal 2 Kalyanam” – Mirchi Movies has signed Milind Rau as a director for Kaadhal 2 Kalyanam(romantic comedy) and another untitled movie. Milind worked as an associate to Mani Ratnam on four films, including the super hit ?Guru?.

“Chocolate” – Mirchi Movies has also acquired the Tamil remake rights of the 2007 Malayalam blockbuster, ?Chocolate?.
