Nokia unveiled ‘take-back’ campaign in Chennai on the occasion of World Environement Day, Nokia will plant a tree for every phone dropped in the Recycle bins spread accross the country.
Bharatanatyam dancer and Actress Padmashri Shobana dropped her used mobile in a recycle bin for the cause.
The event marked the nationwide roll-out of the Take-Back recycling program in over 15 cities in India. Nokia has organised the campaign in 80 nations.
