Model-turned-film actress Taapsee Pannu is from the city of Ludhiana, Punjab. She was a software engineer before pursuing modelling which eventually led her to acting, She made acting debut in telugu movie Jhummandi Naadam.
She has won Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh face and Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin , during her modelling days. She has done various print ads for brands like Uni Style Image and Motorola.
