Kuselan Debacle Continues!
For those still interested the Kuselan issue is still not over, even though superstar Rajinikanth’s willingness to refund Rs 7 crore for Kuselan losses, Tamilnadu Film Exhibitors Association wants more money as the compensation for the loss.

Press meet organized by association on saturday made a statement. According to the statement the offer of Rs 7 crore is too little to cover the Kuselan losses, and hence we are requesting 80 % of the total amount paid.
Kuselan was promoted as an Rajinikanth starrer but it turned out otherwise.
Kuselan losses, Rajinikanth to refund Rs 7 crores
It is official, superstar Rajinikanth has sorted out the Kuselan issue, Rs 7 crore will be paid as compensation for the theaters to cover the losses.

As per the agreement, the theaters will be paid 33 % of the amount the film was sold in Tamil Nadu territory. Kuselan was sold for around Rs 21 crore and around Rs 7 crore (33%) will be paid as compensation to the theaters.
It is unclear, who will reimbursed the amount. According to reports Rajini will contribute 50 percent and producers rest. When Baba floped in 2002 Rajinikanth paid back the distributors their money
Why Should Rajinikanth Pay for Kuselan Losses ?
Kuselan is in the eye of the storm with theater owners demanding the losses incurred towards the movie’s screening. Rumours that Rajinikanth would compensate of Rs 10 crore has proved to be false.

When Baba floped in 2002 Rajinikanth paid back the distributors their money, as it was produced by his own productions. But in Kuselan situation is different.
Kuselan is produced by G.P Vijayakumar of Seven Arts and Pushpa Kandasamy of Kavithalaya and marketed by Pyramid Saimira. Rajinikanth acted in Kuselan for a salary and from the beginning that he is there in only 25 percent of the movie. He was not responsible for the hype created by the producers and director Vasu.
The movie was only bought at a high rate since director Vasu promised of Rajini’s appearance for the entire duration of the movie.
So why should Rajinikanth alone pay for the loses ?
Kuselan Review – Clean Family Movie
Movie Review: Kuselan (Kathanayakudu in Telugu)
Starring: Rajini, Pasupathy, Nayanthara, Meena, Sona, Vadivelu, Vijayakumar
Music: G V Prakash
Direction: P Vasu

The most awaited Rajinikanth movie of the year is finally out, Here is the review.
Basically remake of the Malayalam film, Kadha Parayumbol mainly focuses on Rajini, It loses its focus on the simple story about human emotions, based on friendship between an ordinary barber and a superstar.
But, Rajini’s Kuselan is a clean family movie with comedy and sentiments and no doubt the film is surely a different attempt by Superstar Rajinikanth and Vasu.
South Indian Queen glamorous Nayanthara has no dialogues in the film and she is there just for the glamour songs with Superstar. Pasupathy has done well. Hats off to him!
Rajini plays the ‘Super Star‘ himself. It is NOT a routine Rajini’s commercial masala movie. One can find a completely different Rajinikanth the real Rajinikanth, the human being. Kuselan is quite an enjoyable watch and is different from previous Rajinikanth films. Chandramukhi(2005) was one in that kind.
For sure, there will be mixed reactions to this Rajinikanth movie, where he appears just 40 minutes. Rajinikanth fans are going to love it, great opportunity to see the real side of this magnificent actor and for others it is different Rajini movie.
