Acclaimed Bharata Natyam classical dancer and South Indian actress Shobana dance titled Maya Ravan -an epic ballet on Ravana was premiered at Nehru Center in Mumbai on Saturday.

She plays a new role of the villainous king Ravana in her dance musical Maya Ravan. Her Maya Ravan performance in US and got overwhelming response.

Hema Malini, Jaya Prada, Juhi Chawla, Jackie Shroff and Vidya Balan are the among celebrities who watched dance drama Maya Ravan show by Shobhana in Mumbai.

Acclaimed dancer Shobhana has received dance lessons from legendary Bharatanatyam dancers Chitra Visweswaran and Padma Subramaniam. She has received numerous awards including Padma Sri and has performed around the world.
