Sources says that Simran is miffed with her roles as a senior person like the mother’s bit in ‘Vaaranam Aaarayam’ and then as an elder sister in a upcoming film.
Reports says that now, she has put in a strong message to all her directors that seniority roles will not be her choice anymore.

Vaaranam Aayiram is Surya S/O Krishnan in Telugu
Smartest Star Surya has got a good audience favor in Andhra Pradesh after the tremendous success of his film Ghajini. Nowadays all his movies are being dubbed regularly into Telugu.
Surya’s forthcoming movie Vaaranam Aayiram, directed by Gautam Vasudev Menon is also being dubbed into Telugu and titled as Surya S/O Krishnan. Surya plays a dual role, Directed by Gowtam Menon starring Sameera Reddy, Divya Spandana and Simran in female lead roles.

2008 Diwali Release Vaaranam Aayiram
Gautham Menon’s Vaaranam Aayiram starring Surya is expected to be a 2008 Diwali release.
Following Kaaka Kaaka, both the director Gautham Menon and Surya Sivakumar expressed their desire to come together for a film in the future. They landed up in Vaaranam Aayiram.
Surya acts in dual lead roles, whilst Sameera Reddy, Divya Spandana and Simran Bagga also play roles in the film. Harris Jayaraj has done the music scores and movie is expected to be a 2008 Diwali release.
Simran 14 roles in Navavelli
Actress Simran is to play 14 different avataar’s in her forthcoming tele-serial titled as Navavelli. Produced by Pyramid Saimira, the serial will be telecasted in Jaya TV from June 30, Monday. Simra is taking Kamal’s 10 roles in Dasavatharam!
Simran comes in 14 ‘Avataar’s of Amman as she fights for justice and instills spiritual faith in her followers.This serial comes in the moth of Aadi, the most auspicious one for Tamil women.
“I know the importance of Aadi and how Tamil women give importance to this auspicious month. That is why I was so disciplined while the portions were shot.” says Simran who strikes back again in Tamil cinema.

“Simran Thirai” – Simran is back
Simran is back, this time on the small screen with Simran Thirai. Simran Thirai is not a serial but a Tele-film with different stories that will be aired from March 3 on Jaya TV, Mon-Fri 8.30 pm.
The series will have a mini serial per month with one story running for a month. The stories are selected from many writers and will be directed by different directors. Simran will handle the protagonist?s role in each story. Every story will have by a different director and technicians to give a distinct cinematic flavour to the programme.
Simran Thirai is produced by Pyramid Saimira. The first two episodes of Simran Thirai will be directed by actress Sri Priya (Vannathupoochi) and director Ahathiyan. Vairamuthu has done the title song lyrics.
