Rajini’s Robot is Endhiran : It’s Official

It’s official now, the title of Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Robot directed by Shankar has been changed as Endhiran. An Ayngaran International official release said that the movie has been changed as Endhiran(THE ROBOT) and it is set to begin with the cameras on roll auspiciously on September 8th at America.

Director Shankar’s Endhiran (The Robot) with Superstar Rajinikanth and alluring Aishwarya Rai in chief roles is set to begin finally with the cameras on roll auspiciously on September 8th at America.

The mega musician A.R.Rahman composed two incredible numbers to which our celebrated stars would hop commencing the first schedule of shooting in the stunning locations of America.

The movie Production houses involved into this opulence project are Ayngaran International Pvt Ltd and Eros International. Endhiran family encompasses several members who specialize in different tasks that include Cinematography by R.Ratnavelu. Art by Sabu Syril, Lyrics by Vairamuthu, Pa.Vijay, Editing by Anthony, Choreography by Raju Sundaram and Costume Design by Manish Malhotra.

Three world distinguished people who worked with many Hollywood block buster movies reveal their expertise for the first time in Tamil cinema and they are

1. Mary E Vogt who designed terrific scientific outfits for each character in Men IN Black (MIB), Batman Returns, Inspector Gadget etc is to design our robot’s outfits.
2. Stan Winston Studio (USA) who did animatronics for Predator, Jurassic Park, Pearl Harbour, Iron Man, Terminator and I-Robot is to make the same with Endhiran.
3. Yuen Woo Ping handled stunt for Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Matrix and Kill Bill is currently working for Endhiran

Many Hollywood companies like ILM, Tippet, Caf EFX and Hong Kong companies like Centro and menford is working in VFX field.Visual Effects and Animatronics Co-Ordination by Indian Artiste. Men behind this mega project movie the backbone of Endhiran are the producers K.Karunamurthi and C.Arunpandiyan whereas the executive producer is K.Vijayakumar.

Rajini’s “Robot” Name is Yantram or Endhiram ?

We reported that Shankar’s magnum opus film Rajinikanth starring English title ‘Robot‘ has now been changed to Yantram (???????? ).

Yet there was a little fuss in spelling of the Tamil title (???????? ) . We translated Tamil title (???????? ) using Google Indic Transliteration tool( type Endhiram and hit spacebar) and it resulted Endhiram in English.

Media reports like Eanthiram or Yantram … Wait we cannot conclude the spelling, director Shankar and producers has to come out with the English spelling of their film !!!

Rajini’s Robot is Yantram – Name Changed

Superstar Rajinikanth has got Tamil name (???????? ) “Yantram” for Shankar’s magnum opus film previously titled as “Robot” produced by Ayngaran-Eros International.

As per Tamilnadu government rule only films with Tamil titles are eligible for entertainment tax exemption, so the unit were forced to change the title from Robot to Yantram.

The shooting for the film commences abroad in U.S.A. from the 7th of September.

Superstar Rajini To Do Another Quick Movie ?

If reports are to be believed then Superstar Rajinikanth could do a quickie movie like Kuselan which will be released in 2009.

Rajinikanth’s Robot directed by Shankar will be released only in 2010. Since Soundarya’s Sultan- The Warrior is an animation film, fans may not welcome it.

Kuselan made unnecessary burden on his superstar image with distributors and theatre owners, So Rajini is considering a quickie. Rajinikanth has sorted out the Kuselan issue, Rs 7 crore will be paid as compensation for the theaters to cover the losses.

According to reports Rajini is looking for a trusted director including director Murgadoss to do the quick movie.

Rajini’s Robot Shooting from August 10 – Starts in USA

At Tirupathy Sri Venkatachalapathy temple South Indian superstar RajiniKanth offered prayers for ‘Kuselan’ and its Telugu version ‘Kathanayukudu’ success.

He thanked his for the success of Kuselan and said he would start shooting for Robot from the 10th of August. The shooting would kick start in the USA , which is to be directed by Shankar.

Aishwarya highest paid- Rs 6 Crore for Shankar’s Robot

Aishwarya Rai has finally signed Shankar’s Rajinikanth starring dream project Robot — Reportedly she accepted a huge advance amount. Previously it was said she is the highest paid Bollywood actress with Rs 4 crores ( 40 million) for Rajnikanth’s leading lady in Shankar’s Robot. But now reports says Aishwarya is getting Rs 6 Crore for Robot — Highest ever salary paid to an actress for an Indian film.

Aishwarya Rai had signed Shankars Robot which stars Rajinikanth; she has also signed Mani Ratnams bilingual with Abhishek the schedules of these movies clashed and now the dates problem sorted by her recently.

Robot shooting is expected to start in the last week of August.
