5 ft 9.5 inch tall Ukrainian-born model and actress Olga Kurylenko is the newest Bond girl in Quantum of Solace.
Olga Kurylenko, who grew up in poverty sharing a Soviet flat with her aunt, uncle, grandparents and cousin, is starring as Bond girl opposite Daniel Craig.

British newcomer Gemma Arterton and Olga Kurylenko are the two female leads in this movie.

Olga Kurylenko was trained as a model in Moscow, she will speak English and French fluently. In 2005 she made her film debut as Iris, a sensual beauty in Annulaire, L’ (2005) by director Diane Bertrand.

Quantum of Solace (2008) is the 22nd James Bond film by EON Productions, The sequel to the 2006 film Casino Royale, it is directed by Marc Forster, and features Daniel Craig’s second performance as James Bond.

Quantum of Solace will be first released in the UK on on 31 October. Quantum of Solace’s US release has been scheduled for 14 November ( Thanksgiving weekend ). Quantum of Solace Release in India On 7th November

Quantum of Solace is directed by Marc Forster, of Monster’s Ball, Finding Neverland, Stranger Than Fiction, and The Kite Runner previously. The screenplay was penned by both Robert Wade (Die Another Day, Johnny English, Casino Royale) and Paul Haggis (Crash, Million Dollar Baby, Flags of Our Fathers, Casino Royale). This is the 22nd Bond film in the series that first began back in 1962 with Dr. No. Sony Pictures will be releasing Quantum of Solace in theaters on November 7th this year.

James Bond star Daniel Craig has reportedly sliced off the top of his finger during shooting on the next James Bond movie Quantum of Solace.

The incident reportedly occurred while he was filming an action sequence at London’s Pinewood Studios.

Quantum of Solace is the 22nd spy film in James Bond film series, due for release in the United Kingdom on 31 October 2008 and in the United States on 7 November. It is the sequel to the 2006 film Casino Royale, which rebooted the series. Columbia Pictures, a unit of Sony Corp, is the distributor of the film.
