Critically acclaimed Marathi film Tingya, had lost with Taare Zameen Par for this years Oscars entry from India in the Foreign Films category by close inch.

Tingya Producer Ravi Rai has decided to enter Tingya in the Oscars race independently. Tingya is directed by director Mangesh Hadawale. Tingya has bagged about 37 awards globally.
