Ravi Varman – man who shot Dasavatharam
After working for Anniyan and Vettayadu Vilayadu, Ravi Varman was chosen as the cinematographer for 2008’s much talked about film, Dasavathaaram. The film will be released on June 12-13.
Cinematographer Ravi Varman have won an international award. He received the best cinematography award at the 23rd International Film Festival in France for Jayaraj’s Malayalam film, Santham.

Dasavatharam is the forthcoming Kamal Hassan’s feature film directed by K. S. Ravikumar, who with Dasavatharam, pairs up with Kamal Haasan for the 4 th time.
Kamal acts in 10 different roles, breaking the record for an actor’s portrayal of the most different characters whilst Asin Thottumkal in a dual role and Mallika Sherawat also play lead roles in the film.

Jayalalithaa, Karunanidhi in Dasavatharam ?
Dasavatharam, in which the kamal hassan plays ten characters, has a scene showing the two war of words political rivals in Tamil Nadu, M Karunanidhi and J Jayalalithaa together, with help of computer graphics.

If sources are to be belived , Karunanidhi and Jayalalithaa appear on the screen when US president George W Bush (played by Kamal) confers an award on an Indian scientist( another Kamal character ).
Dasavadharam audio launch on April 2nd
Audio launch of “Dasavatharam“, which was scheduled to be held in March, is now postponed to April 2nd. The chief guest at the audio launch function will be Asia’s biggest action hero Jackie Chan.
The audio launch which was scheduled to be held on March 14 has been postponed to suit Jackie Chan’s availability.
