Aishwarya Rai among AskMen’s Top 99 Women of 2009

The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai has made it to the AskMen list of the ‘Top 99 Most Desirable Women in the World‘. The former Miss World was placed at number 60 in the annual AskMen.com poll.

WHY SHE’S NO.60? Here is what AskMen said,

The seductive power of Aishwarya Rai’s beauty is so strong that when she flutters those lashes over her famous blue-green eyes, she kicks up tornadoes the world over. Yet, as a key member of the Bollywood elite, she is virtually required to maintain a wholesome public image; she carries herself around with the modesty and poise of a well-behaved schoolgirl (hot!).

Aishwarya Rai starred in just two Bollywood films in 2008 (far below the industry norm), Sarkar Raj and Jodhaa Akbar. She also received nominations for her role in a 2007 film, Guru; she was nominated for the Best Actress award from the Awards of the International Indian Film Academy, and for the same title from the Screen Weekly Awards. We can look forward to seeing Aishwarya Rai in at least three films in 2009, including Hollywood’s The Pink Panther 2.

Rajini, Aishwarya Rai ? The attraction of Goa

Though tight security has been provided at Goa shooting for Rajini’s upcoming flick Shankar’s Enthiran, stills were leaked.
Director Shankar has planned 12 days long shooting schedule, to complete a song sequence of Rajini – Aishwarya Rai and some violent stunt sequences of the superstar.

Currently Rajini and Gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan lodged in Miramar Road, Panaji. No sooner Rajini and Ash reached Panaji, visitors in large number gathered to get a glimpse of the duo .

If you see the leaked stills from Peru and one latest from Goa, one can witness Rajini has got a complete changeover and he looks young and dynamic.

Shah Rukh, Bachchan THE COLD WAR COMES TO END

To put the cold war rumors between himself and Amitabh Bachchan family, Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan along with his wife Gauri Khan, son Aryan and daughter Suhana attended the premiere of Abhishek Bachchan’s film Drona, which opened Thursday ( Oct 2).

While interacting with media Bollywood King Khan said,

All the disputes between me and Mr Bachchan are media created and there is no ill feeling between us.

Referring to his infamous quarrel with Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan said

I don’t talk about quarrels. Let others mention it, whoever wants to.

Well, one has to watch whether SRK and Bachchan Cold War cooled during the Drona premiere, hope it does.

Superstar Rajini’s Enthiran – The Robot on location stills have been leaked. The crew of the Shankar-directed movie shoot a song in Machu Pichu, Peru recently.

The filming of Endhiran has been kept under security but that has not stopped die hard fans to get their sneak peeks. There were total of 5 stills have been released into Peru-based newspapers and all these pictures were published in extramirchi.com too.

Looks like those pictures were shot by a visitor at the shooting spot. The snaps showed a dashing Super Star, dressed up like a cowboy, romancing Aishwarya, dressed up in tribal costume.

Raj Thackeray Accepts Jaya Bachchan’s Apology

Bollywood actor and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan’s anti-Marathi remarks at the music launch of Drona fueled clash between Maharashtra Navnirman Sen (MNS) head Raj Thackeray and Bachchan’s. Raj Thackeray threatened to ban all Bachchan family (Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan ) films in Maharashtra asked Jaya Bachan for a public apology.

Raj Thackeray said he is taking back his agitation against the Bachchan family, since Jaya Bachchan apologised for her remark about speaking in Hindi.

In an interview to Mumbai Mirror Amitabh Bachchan wife Jaya Bachchan said,

I am very sorry if I have hurt the sentiments of Marathi speaking people in Mumbai and Maharashtra
