Trisha forays into Bollywood opposite Akshay

According to reliable media sources, Model tuned Actress Trisha will be foraying into Bollywood movies with Akshay Kumar. This film is tentatively titled as Khatta Meeta which will be directed by Priyadarshan.

Remember, Priyadarshan is the one who introduced Trisha 7 years back with Lesa Lesa in Tamil.

She won Miss Salem in 1999, Miss Chennai in 1999 and Miss India Miss Beautiful Smile in 2001. Except Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan, Tishha has acted with most of the top south indian heroes including Chiranjeevi.

Following Asin, Genelia and Shriya…It is certain that Kollywood is losing one more actress to Bollywood.

Nagma at Tobacco Awareness event in Mumbai

Jyothika sister Nagma participated at an awareness event hosted by Indian Dental Association(IDA).

Bollywood actress Amrita Rao, Shreyas Talpade, Nagma, and Pantaloons Miss India 2009 Shriya Kishore were among the celebrities who participated at the “Tobacco Intervention Initiative event” of IDA on World No Tobacco Day on Sunday May 31st at St. Andrews Auditorium, Bandra, Mumbai.

Asin wins Filmfare Award for Best Debutant

The queen of Tamil cinema, Asin has bagged the Filmfare Award for the Best Sensational Debut (Female) at the 54th Filmfare Award.

Asin made first Bollywood debut with this film, Amir Khan and Asin starrer Ghajini has turned out to be the biggest blockbuster of all times.

In TimesofIndia interview Asin said,

I’ve got a great welcome in Bollywood… and it’s a nice feeling to be nominated for both the Best Debutante and Best Actress for the same movie

Practically entire film industry was at the wedding of Himani Raut with Rajeev Shah, son of film financier Bharat Shah at the Mahalaxmi Turf Club.

Kamal Hassan, Rekha, gorgeous Nagama,beautiful Sridevi, Dancing queen Madhuri Dixit , Jackie Shroff, Mallika Sherawat, Govinda were among the guest at the wedding.
