Meena will get married to Vidyasagar on July 12 in Tiruppathi. A reception will be held in Chennai on July 14.
Born on September 16, 1978 (30 years now ) as Meena Durairaj, Actress Meena started her career in 1982 as a child artist, has done more than 175 films. Her lead role with superstar Rajinikanth in Yejaman made her to the number one slot in Tamil cinema. She has done three films as Rajinikanth’s heroine Following the release of Muthu in Japan and its commercial success, Meena’s popularity rose in Japan along with Rajinikanth.
She is considered as a homely actress with seductress eyes and lips, She has generally avoided glamorous roles. Meena acted with high personality when she was in peek in her acting career.

Popular actress Meena is to appear in one more television serial titled Kalyanam. Produced by Sathyajothi Films, the telefilm will be launched in March.

For many years now, Meena and her mother had been looking for a groom. According to reports, Meena was very specific that she wanted to get married to someone who was settled in Chennai, so she could be near with her parents. Meena happens to be the only child of her parents, so there was nothing surprising about this condition.
Meena born on September 16, 1978 (30 years now ) made her debut as a heroine way back in 1991, wasn’t exactly busy for the past couple of years, which forced her parents and relatives to look for a suitable groom for her marriage. She got a break into movies when she was chosen to act in superstar Rajni’s Kuselan.
Her career seems to be on the upswing again, as she has got offers to act in some Telugu movies too. She has reportedly told her parents to put on hold their marriage talks.
