Taare Zameen Par gets tax exemption

Haryana Government exempted Aamir Khan’s directorial debut `Taare Zameen Par‘ (TZP) from payment of entertainment tax for 12 weeks in the state.

Film deals with a sensitive social problem about children, portrayed the issue beautifully and tries to educate parents and teachers on how to take care of children so that they can grow into useful members of society with self esteem , which requires urgent attention of the society, said excise and taxation minister Birender Singh.
