Here is the experts from her interview with The Christian Messenger, she talks about her faith and mission in an interview. Actress Nagma actress, who

When did you come to realize the saving power of Jesus Christ?

I was born on Christmas to a Muslim mother and a Hindu father. I went to a convent school from childhood. I was exposed to Christianity from a young age. I went to Mount Mary Convent School in Bandra, Mumbai. There, Mass was a routine feature. I always thought I am very special to God because I was born on Dec 25th – perhaps because the world celebrated the day.

While reading the New Testament, I realized the importance of baptism and also of joining a church. Therefore, I immediately joined Pastor Shekhar Kalyanpur’s New Life Fellowship in Juhu, Mumbai. I took baptism on Jan 4. Since 2007 was a year of rest I decided to take a break from films and continued my Bible study fervently.

How much time in a day do you set apart for reading the Bible, worshiping God and praying?

I pray at all times. At times for hours together I lock myself in my room and I seek God. I pray anywhere and everywhere. Since the past two years I have considerably cut down on my work just to seek the face of God, wait upon Him and to know His will in my life.

Has there been any opposition to your accepting Christ as your savior from your family?

Not at all. In fact, they have been very supportive. As I said earlier, I am from a secular family and happen to gain knowledge of different faiths. Now that I am a believer, they are supportive of this fact.

What was Jyothika’s reaction to your accepting Christ?

All of them including my sisters think it?s a phase I am going through and I will get out of it soon. They think I am on my own trip (laughs). In due time, they will come to realize that this is the Way, the Truth and Life.

Are you contemplating marriage?

Marriages are made in heaven. If there?s a man that God has chosen for me, then marriage shall happen. But the important thing is, he has to be a believer, a man who has God as his priority and who believes in God?s command stated in Ephesians 5:25.

Do you have any message for our readers?

Love one another and love the Lord God with all your heart and mind and soul. And blessings to all along with all-surpassing peace that the Lord our Father has granted us. Keep me in your prayers, too.

Christianity like Islam are the two religions that have made God into a commodity. Jesus was a nice Jewish guy talking peace and stuff, some say could have been Roman spy keeping an eye on rebellious Jews, which is why you do not find Jesus messing with Romans. In any case if Nagma suddenly feels Jesus can take her to heaven she is not unlike many insecure prisoners in the west who are now turning to radical Islam and will plant a bomb at any infidel gathering. The fact is both Christianity and Islam are murderous religions. Why Nagma who had Hindu influences on her should not chose a grand and highly philosophical spiritualism – which is sweeping across the Christian west, is strange.

    Hey Sis. Nagma,
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!!!

What a great testimony!!!!! Like every testimony (including mine) I have read, listen or watched your testimony has also encouraged me and filled my heart with so much of joy which I can not express in this email. So praise the Lord!!!!
Another reason I am writing this comment is to share with you of what Lord reminded me while I was reading your testimony. While I was reading your testimony Lord reminded me of Psalms 72. In this Psalms king Solomon prays for more influence. He prays to God to make him famous, spreading his name throughout every land, giving him power, influence etc. In the beginning it seems why he is asking for all this… but here is the interesting part, towards the end of the psalm he says, So that……the king (he was the king of Israel at that time) would care for widow and orphan, support depressed, defend the defenceless, care for the sick, assist the poor, speak up for the foreigner etc. To my understanding the purpose of him asking for the influence was to speak up for those who have no influence. So when I read your testimony, Lord reminded that he will use you (your power, fame, influence etc.) to reach out to foreigner, poor, sick, depressed, etc. and you will speak up for those who have no influence and you will literally touch millions and millions of lives across the globe, specially among women and teenage girls who sees you as their role model and follow Jesus Christ.
So Sista (Sister) be encouraged and my prayer is that may God bless you and the works of your hands, keep on preaching the good news of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ and save many souls as you can across the lands of this earth.
    Shalom.

As my name suggests that I’m from sikh family but Lord Jesus has shown his mercies on me also and from Nagma’s testimony it is clear that God now is collecting his sheeps. Praise the Lord ,may more and more people grow in him as the end times are near.Because salvation is through only Jesus Christ…Jesus said “I am the way ,the truth and the life” and through him we can enter into heaven and there is no other way.

    God bless all.

I am so happy to read and to know Nagma’s witness and supporting comments and testimonies from other readers. Though I live in U.S.A for the last 45 years, I pray for and support charity and gospel work in India. Gospel has to be preached to all people who have never heared. The Holy Spirit is the one who leads believers to Christ, the true and the only Saviour of the Worlld. I strongly feel and believe that Nagma was set apart to be a powerful witness for Christ Jesus. Let us all pray for her and other witnesses who are working for the Lord. The Lord may come any time!
