Gemini Labs, one of the oldest media houses in the country is entering into the film production. The company is planning to remake Telugu blockbuster movie ‘Arya‘ starring Allu Arjun.
Buzz is that Dhanush being approached by Gemini Labs for this movie. Dhanush is said to raised his salary to 3 crores after his Pollathavan hit.
Gemini Labs has plans to produce 26 movies every year by 2010-11 so that they would be in a position to release a new movie every fortnight on their own screens.
DE Shaw, one the largest global providers of alternative assets has plans to invest close to $60 million (Rs 240 crore) in Gemini Labs.
