D Imman has carved a niche for himself in a short span as a music director. From ad jingles to television serials and to regular films, it is indeed a long journey for him.
While his music received all-round appreciation in the films Tamizhan, Dilrupa and Saena, it was Whistle which really catapulted him to the top rung with some lively numbers like Whistle Adikkum, Kirukka Kirukka and Azhagiya Asura.
The young music-composer, who got married recently, continues to be obsessed with remixing yesteryear melodies. He is currently scoring music for a movie titled Dakshina starring Srikanth. Buzz is that Imman would be remixing a popular yesteryear Ilayaraja song for the movie.
