NDTV Indian of The Year awards

NDTV presented “NDTV Indian of The Year awards” to Indian heroes in a glittering function held at Taj Palace, New Delhi. The function was attended by dignitaries, celebrities and other prominent personalities.

The top prize, the NDTV Indian of the Year award went to the Indian soldiers.

• Businessman of the Year award :was given to Mukesh Ambani.
• The one and only boss Rajnikath was named NDTV’S Entertainer of the Year
• Vishwanathan Anand was named NDTV’s Sportsman of the Year.
• A R Rehman, who continues to give one musical hit after the other was given NDTV’s Music Award.
• The unsung hero, the Indian Soldier, an award that was accepted jointly by the three Chiefs.
• Global Indian award went to Dr R K Pachauri
• The big award- Leader of the Year Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accepted the award.
