Air Deccan Renamed as Kingfisher Red

Now, low cost airline Air Deccan being rebranded as Kingfisher Red. Friday onwards, Deccan is operating under the flight code IT instead of the current DN. Deccan’s code DN is being discontinued.

Deccan is now Kingfisher – Effective 29th August 08 , 10:00 a.m tickets will be available on www.flykingfisher.com

Vijay Mallaya founded Kingfisher three yars ago, which is a part of UB group. Low cost Air Deccan, launched in 2003 by Capt GR Gopinath had less frills than other airlines, which made middle class Indian to afford air travel.
