The world’s oldest, Europe’s most glamorous running film festival opened in the Italian coastal city of Venice, with the premiere of the much talked about Coen brothers Burn After Reading. Hollywood actors George Clooney along with Brad Pitt, is in Venice to showcase new film ‘Burn After Reading’ at the Venice Film Festival.
Filmmakers from around the world have submitted their works for the competition. There are 21 movies competing for the coveted Golden Lion.
This year’s festival is dedicated to Egyptian filmmaker Youssef Chahine who died last month at the age of 82.
