DMK is planning to felicitate versatile singer T.M. Soundarrajan. M.K. Azhagiri, son of CM M. Karunanidhi, is planning up to honour T.M. Soundarrajan in Madurai. From his childhood, Azhagiri is a fan of T.M. Soundarrajan songs.
T.M. Soundarrajan, who is still singing in live concerts, has once expressed his feelings towards the lack of recognition. He was duly honored by the leading light music troupe, Lakshman Sruthi, which conducted a show featuring his songs alone. The musical troupe took T.M. Soundarrajan and his wife to the concert in a chariot in a procession to honor the singer.
Mr.M.K.Azhagiri would be doing a great justice to the living legend TMS by felicitating him!
Actually late Mr.MGR ought to have honoured TMS for it was he who gained the most out of TMS’ golden voice.But TMS got only a raw deal from MGR.

Yes it is great to hear honouring the man with golden voice, we all know that none could match him in delivering the songs. But Mr MGR has also held a function to facilitate TMS along with MS Viswanathan, P. Susheela. But this will be a special and specifcally for The Great TMS whose golden voice has not been recognised after 90’s till date. It is pathetic and the Music Directors and the Producers has to ashame of not utilising such a great golden for years.

It was a great honour for TMS who was and is still a great singer in Tamil Nadu. The function organised by Sh.Azhagiri was greatly appreciated by all fans of TMS. The hit songs given by TMS are still being enjoyed by the people. Like SP Charan, son of SPB and Yesudoss’s son, Sh.Azhagiri should give a chance to any son of TMS for singing in the tamil cinema.
i listen to only hindi old songs as my mothertongue is urdu, but iam a very old fan of tms and p.sushila, i was telling to my friends as why in chennai these great singers is not honoured as how in bollywood still rafi,mukesh,kisore,lata,asha etc has it. tms and p.susheela for me they are mohd.rafi and lata of kollywood, they deserve to be honoured as a very senior celebrities in kollywood music industry.
