The annual beauty pageant Miss South India is on in Chennai, with 400 participants for the crown. Actor Shaam inaugurated the Miss South India contest today by handing out entry forms to aspirants.
It’s not the city girls who are showing a keen interest in the beauty pageant, now fashion has made inroads into the south rural areas too. Every contestant got a role model as well, ranging from Sushmita Sen to Preity Zinta.
