Malavika is Pregnant

Actress cum item song dancer Malavika is pregnant, she has officially resigned from the movie Indira Vizha. Buzz is that doctors have asked her not to dance as she is pregnant.

She says she would continue to act after giving birth and would also dance for item numbers, though she is ready to act after a baby…will Kollywood fans like her to see in screen for item numbers is a million dollar question.

Pyramid Saimira to produce 52 films

Pyramid Saimira Theatre Ltd plans to produce a total of 52 films this year, it will invest about Rs 40 crore for the production of 10 films.

The company would produce 10 Tamil films in this fiscal year and would be investing around Rs 350?400 million towards the production of these ten films. The inaugural function of this event was held in Chennai in which 10 film producers were given the opportunity.

Apart from the film production, Pyramid Saimira is also engaged in producing content for Television and other modes.

Ramya Krishnan launches Shiksha 2008

Procter and Gamble in partnership with Child Rights and You (CRY) launched Shiksha 2008 at event held in Chennai.

Shiksha believes that the secret to a brighter India lies in the quality education of our children. Actress Ramya Krishnan and Anita Ratnam got together to show their support for the cause.

Every consumer who buys a P&G products in April, May and June 2008 will be contributing to educating underprivileged children in India.

Aishwarya Rai is all set to be the heroine of this movie pairing with Vikram. Through this project Aiswariya Rai is re-uniting in Mani Ratnam flick after – Iruvar and Guru.

The film thus will mark Vikram?s debut in Bollywood and as well as Mani Ratnam flick.
