Vikram donates Rs.15 Lakhs AP flood victims

Actor Vikram is regarded as a benevolent contributor for his vivid involvement in charitable activities… Yesterday morning (Nov 15), actor Vikram visited Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Rosaiah at his residence and donated Rs.15 Lakhs as relief fund for AP flood victims.

Recently, the Telugu film industry had hosted a grand night show for raising funds, which was attended by Superstar Rajnikanth, Surya, Prabhu Deva and more actors from Kollywood (it’s because most of Tamil actors find good market with their films dubbed in Telugu). Since, Vikram was busy shooting for his untitled next at Leh (directed by Selvaraghavan), he couldn’t grace over the occasion.

But soon as the shooting was over, the actor flew directly to Andhra Pradesh and visited CM.

Ajith Kumar dosen’t replace Vikram in 24

Yaavarum Nalam ( Hindi – 13B) fame Vikram K Kumar was reported to have been drenched in trouble as actor Vikram didn’t report to him on the sets of ‘24’. Recently, there were rumours stating that Vikram has been dropped from the project with Ajith Kumar replacing him.

When approached the closer hands of Vikram Kumar, they stated that there’s some sort of issues running between Vikram and the filmmaker since the actor didn’t join the team for shooting, as he was busy filming for Selvaraghavan’s untitled next at Ladakh. Continue Reading >>

Maniratnam’s Raavan in Malshej Ghats

Veteran director Maniratnam is shooting Raavan movie’s final scheduled in Malshej Ghats, a scenic hill station around 140 kilometres from Mumbai.

It stars Vikram, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Govinda & Priyamani. The music of the movie is composed by academy award winner A. R. Rahman.

Vikram Turns Singer in Kanthasamy

Following in the footsteps of M K Thyagaraja Bhagavathar, Actor Vikram has sung four out of the six songs in Kanthasamy namely Excuse Me Mr. Kanthasamy, Poda Podi, Kuchi Mittai and Mania in Tamil and Telugu version of the film.

Devi Sri Prasad has done the music. After M K Thyagaraja Bhagavathar, this could be the first time that an actor has voiced for all of his songs in Tamil cinema, accordign to director Susi Ganesan.

How much does the Vikram charge being a star singer?

Vikram has not been singing for money. He has a great voice, We found that there was a good singer in him and somehow convinced him to sing said Devi Sri Prasad

The songs of the movie are expected to be out by the first week of February.
