Gautham Menon’s Vaaranam Aayiram bags National award

Gautham Menon’s Vaaranam Aayiram has bagged the National award for the best regional Tamil film. Gautham vasudev Menon is considered as one of the top most Tamil film directors.

Gautham Menon’s brilliant screenplay, top performance by Surya has won the national award for this film.

IANS reports that Gautham Menon was excited over national award, and said

I am very happy that the National Award jury recognised the merits of the film and selected it for the honour.

Make sure, if you’re watching K.S. Ravikumar’s film and don’t give in rooms for any rationality. The filmmaker never cares about logics and makes sure his hero is portrayed in larger than life roles. ‘Aadhavan’ doesn’t boast of anything exceptional in terms of storyline. Remember Rajnikanth’s ‘Thai Veedu’ –where the protagonist is misused by baddies to harm his own family members. Well, if you’re an ardent buff of Tollywood, one can find the traces of ‘Nandhavanam 120Kms’.
