Ajith Kumar acts in the lead role in Aegan, whilst Nayantara, Navdeep, Suhasini Ratnam, Nassar and Jayaram also play roles in the film. Directed by Raju Sundaram, who with Aegan will direct his maiden film.
Yuvan Shankar Raja, the music director of the film released the first copy of the music CD in a very simple function and Rajiv Nambiyar, the COO of Hello FM. None of the cast and crew were present at the time .

Yuvanshankar Raja has composed the music. Nayantara and Ajith pairs in this movie together again after the superhit Billa. Aegan is the remake of the Shahrukh Khan-Sushmita Sen starrer Main Hoon Na with directorial debut of choreographer Raju Sundaram.

Nayanthara in Linguswamy Movie

Linguswamy himself said that nayanthara was signed up for more than Rs. 1 crore for this movie (he did not disclose the amount how much she will be paid).
Buzz is that Nayan would be paid Rs. 1.5 Crores for acting in the film, highest ever paid for a South Indian actress.
Linguswamy project is yet to be named.
