Rajini gifts paiting to Kamal – Art Goddess carries him

During a function to facilitate Kamal Hassan’s fifty years in the film industry, Rajini had reportedly said that all the actors were ‘children of the Goddess of Art’, but ‘Kamal was so special that the Goddess had carried him in her own arms and let the other actors follow her’

Looks like after the function, Rajini apparently had called a reputed artist to his house to paint what he felt about the description of Kamal with the Goddess of Art.

After the London audio launch , Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya Audio is launched in India by actor Kamal Hassan and music composer A R Rahman at Sathyam Cinemas in Chennai. Three songs and a trailer of the movie were screened at the event.

Directed by Gautham Menon Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (VTV) stars Silambarasan and beautiful Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles. Trisha pairing Simbu for the second time. Gautham Menon and A.R.Rahman is joining for the first time.

The entire Tamil film industry is appalled with the unofficial release of Jaggubhai over the internet, and now is being distributed in black markets. The actors and other technicians of Tamil film industry had gathered for a meeting expressing their views to curtail the illegal activities that have been threatening them.

It was saddening to witness Director K.S. Ravikumar breaking down in tears as he said, “It nearly took Rs.15 crores to produce this film and involves two years of hard work. But I am not able to withstand the cruel deed of those heartless people.”

Emotionally-bounded Sarath Kumar said that those people could’ve directly shot them to death instead of committing such acts.

Padmashree Kamal Haasan came up with a convincing speech that the public must be made aware- the funds raised through pirated videos are donated for terror attacks. People must think about this twice before purchasing them.

Superstar Rajnikanth made it clear that the councils of Tamil film industry must offer solutions to this issue by implementing strict measures instead of approaching Chief Minister.

According to media sources, under KS Ravikumar direction Kamal Hassan’s next movie is titled as Yavarum Kelir. This will be a comedy movie produced by Udayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies.

In the combination of Kamal, K. S Ravikumar delivered blockbusters like ‘Avvai Shanmugi’, ‘Thenali’, ‘Panchathanthiram’ and ‘Dasavatharam’.

After Unnai Pol Oruvan (A Wednsday remake ) Kamal Hassan is all set to do a comedy movie directed by KS Ravikumar. Udayanidhi Stalin ( Red Giant Movies ) is all set produce this movie.

Kamal Hassan’s movie with Mysskin is taking a while to take off. Looks like Kamal Hassan has decided to do a quick movie with KS Ravikumar before he starts with Mysskin’s movie.

In the combination of Kamal, Ravikumar delivered blockbusters like ‘Avvai Shanmugi’, ‘Thenali’, ‘Panchathanthiram’ and ‘Dasavatharam’. The film is expected to go on floors by January 2010.

Om Puri’s official biography Unlikely Hero Om Puri, written by his journalist wife Nandita Puri, was released by Kamal Hassan on December 14 at hotel Sheraton Park in Chennai.

Published by Roli books, the book also has a foreword by late Hollywood actor Patrick Swayze.

Kamal adopts 1000 HIV positive children

December 1st being the World AIDS Day, Kamal Haasan has adopted 1000 children who are HIV positive and has set an example for others.

To mark the World AIDS day Hello FM and Population Service International, a NGO has organised a month long event and awareness programs called ‘Pettralthan Pillaya’.

The campaign will be on for one month and various programs pertaining to AIDS will be aired by Hello FM. The listeners are requested to donate Rs. 750, which will be utilized for the needs of one child affected by AIDS.
