Swiss watchmaker Longines introduced its Admiral Collection that features a 24h “second time zone” as well as a chronograph model in India.

Sci-Fi film ‘Endhiran - The Robot‘ produced by Ayngaran and directed by Shankar which stars Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai completed another week long shooting schedule on location in Goa on Sunday, October 12.

A new schedule is expected to start soon. Movie is being simultaneously produced in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and other languages.

Director Mani Ratnam who started the shooting of his Ravan in some beautiful locations inside the forest has been stopped by Kerala Forest & Wildlife Department.

Maniratnam’s forthcoming bilingual movie which stars Vikram, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Priyamani has been named as Ashokavanam in Tamil and Ravan in Hindi and Telugu.

It is believed that Maniratnam team had constructed temporary huts inside the forest in Malayatoor, where film shooting has not been allowed so far since it is prime spot for eco-tourism, 2 hours from Kochi.

It seems that Maniratnam has got about 20 days of special permission to shoot inside the prohibited areas, with some political connections.

Forest Department officials has stopped the filming and unit has been asked to vacate from the forest land once they found the temporary huts on the 5th day, since it violates the agreement with the Kerala Forest Department. As per the rules film unit are not supposed to erect any structures in such areas, film unit explained that it was done to keep their equipment if it rains. But officials canceled the granted agreement since it violates their rules.

Veteran film Director Mani Ratnam was not present when the forest officials visited the site and canceled the agreement.

Though tight security has been provided at Goa shooting for Rajini’s upcoming flick Shankar’s Enthiran, stills were leaked.
Director Shankar has planned 12 days long shooting schedule, to complete a song sequence of Rajini - Aishwarya Rai and some violent stunt sequences of the superstar.

Currently Rajini and Gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan lodged in Miramar Road, Panaji. No sooner Rajini and Ash reached Panaji, visitors in large number gathered to get a glimpse of the duo .

It was great working with Rajinikanth, who is a brilliant actor. The only tough thing about the movie was studying Tamil again in order to pronounce the words properly.

The actress on ‘Endhiran’ says,

Director Shankar had approached me previously to work with him, but it never materialized. Finally, everything landed in place and here we are together after ten years.

A couple of song sequences were shot recently in Peru and another song sequence and some violent stunt sequences of the superstar is going underway in Goa.
