Author Ahmed Faiyaz launched his first book Love, life & all that jazz” on 24th March, at Crossword, kemps corner, 7:00pm onwards. We had Nauheed Cyrusi, Soniya Mehra, Cyrus Broacha, Purab Kohli and Viveka Babajee on the Panel to discuss the book.
The Launch clocked off at sharp 7:00pm, amongst the first to walk in was actress Nauheed Cyrusi. Reading the book was like walking down the memory lane experience for her. She spoke gracefully about the book mentioned that reading about Tea Centre and places like Athena in the book was something she could really relate to. Cyrus Broacha who has also launched a book in January this year appreciated the book pointed out the fact that the book was really meant for today’s generation and the fact the book was about “Mumbai – the city where all of us have grown up in”. Purab Kohli felt that his work and his second relationship made him realize what he wanted from life and could fit into the characters of the book, whereas Viveka Babjee felt that today many of us face challenges between career options and Relationships, which the book shows you how to deal with. Soniya Mehra, a very young actress daughter of Vinod Mehra read the book in a single sitting simple because it was so addictive also book was something she could completely relate her life. We also had Ash Chandler who walked in a little late and shared his views on the book. The over all launch was very interactive as the guests participated and asked questions to Ahmed and all our Panelists.
