Beginning his career as a child artist in ‘Kalathur Kannamma’, Kamal haasan is not just an actor, he is the legend in India Cinema History. He is one of the few South Indians well recognized in Bollywood. Born on November 7, 1954 - kamal turned 53 today.
He has won 4 National Awards and acted over 100 films in over 40 years, Kamal haasan still remains an exceptional artist for the mass audience in India.
He won his National awards for the films Nayagan, Moondram Pirai ,Indian and best child actor for his performance in Kalathur Kannamma. Mammootty is the only actor other than Kamal to receive three National Film Awards for Best Actor in India.
