Today is exactly 1 year since we made our first posting. Ultimately, September 17 2008 marks one year old for extramirchi.com, yes we have survived one full year on the web.
In one full year of journey, extramirchi.com traffic managed to cross 10,000,00 pageviews for the past few months, that is 1 million page views per month!
Here are our sitemeter statistics. In September 2007, we had 2,121 pageviews. After a year later, in August 2008 we got over 10,20,000 pageviews. (Since September 2008 is not over yet we have taken August 2008 statistics)

Sneha, Prasanna – Achamundu Achamundu in 18 Different Countries
Tamil thriller directed by Arun Vaidyanathan stars Prasanna, Sneha and Emmy award winning American actor John Shea.
Arun Vaidyanathan, US based software professional turned filmmaker has plans to dub the Tamil Film Achamundu! Achamundu! film in Spanish, French, German, Creole, Mandarin, Mende/Temne, Arabic, Bangla, Burmese, Vietnamese, Srilankan and Urudu. The film will be released in 18 different countries.The director promises that this will be thrilling and emotional with a hair-raising climax. With this movie, Vaidyanathan’s ambition is to have Tamil cinema noticed internationally.
Achamundu Achamundu – Prasanna at shooting spot
This is the first tamil film to be shot in the RED camera. This futuristic HD4k resolution camera has only been used in a handful of Hollywood productions. Red is the next generation technology that will combine both the quality of 35mm and the adept ability of digital editing/transfer systems.
Arun Vaidyanathan learnt the art of filmmaking at the New York Film Academy. There are no songs in the film but it will be entertaining for sure.

Sakkarakatti is the launch pad of actor Bhagyaraj’s son Shanthnoo Bhagyaraj as a hero. The film produced by veteran producer Kalaipuli S.Thanu, is directed by his son Kalaa Prabhu who is also making his debut.
The film is said to be a musical love story which has some breadth taking locations and mesmerizing music by A.R Rahman.
