South Actress B. Saroja Devi received Lifetime Achievement Award at the 54th National Film Awards ceremony to commemorate the 60th year of Independence by the President Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil in New Delhi.
Apart from South Indian actress Saroja Devi, the lifetime achievement award was also conferred to Bollywood actor Dileep Kumar, singer Lata Mangeshkar and director-producer Thapan Sinha.
