After 2 consecutive successes Aaru and Vel, Suriya and Hari are joining together for another film titled Singam.

Reliance Big Pictures in association with Studio Green produces this movie. Studio Green has associated with Sillunu Oru Kadhal and Paruthiveeran. Singam will mark for the entry of Reliance Big Pictures in Tamil Cinema.

At the inauguration of the film Seval, director Hari announced that there had been a mix-up in the title Singam. Actually Vijay’s Villu was announced as Singam and later name was changed due to the mix-up.

Singam is the future project of mine and it will star Surya, said Hari who is going to direct hin for the 3 rd time.

Kuselan unexpectedly failed to impress audiences and lead the box office race, despite the huge success of its original Malayalam version Katha Parayumpol written by veteran Sreenivasan.

Mohanlal superstar of Malayalam Film Industry has opined that Kuselan’s failure is due to Rajini’s guest appearance.,

Superstars like Rajinikant and Kamal Hassan are larger than life. Their die hard fans won’t accept them in guest roles. But I can get away with small cameos, offbeat roles, anything.

Producer of Panthayam decided not to release the stills of Vijay to the press, because it will create huge expectations among Vijay’s fans. Distributors have been advised not to sell the film to theatres saying it is a Vijay film.
