Chris Freilich, Hollywood cinematographer is working for Achchamundu Achchamundu with RED ONE HD 4k resolution camera. This is the first time RED ONE camera will be used for an Indian film. Kamal Hassan has plans to use RED ONE Camera in his Marmayogi.

Directed by Arun Vaidyanathan ‘Achchamundu Achchamundu’ starring Prasanna and Sneha in lead roles, which is shot in the US. Red One digital camera was tested shooting the Hollywood film Wanted. Wanted stars James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie.

Red One Camera is capable of recording at resolutions up to 4096 horizontal by 2304 vertical pixels, directly to flash or hard disk based digital storage. It features a single Super 35-sized CMOS sensor and a cinematography industry standard PL mount.

The tour is set to being on July 18, 2008 in Toronto followed by performances at Trinidad, Tobago, Houston, Atlantic City, New York, Vancouver, and London. Currently Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Amitabh Bachchan are rehearsing the performances at a hall in Juhu, Mumbai.

Tamanna, the youngest and busy bee heroine in the film industry is in US now for the shooting of her forthcoming movie Aanada Thandavam.

Movie is said to be based on the novel titled Pirivom Sandhippom by the famous author late Sujatha, which is directed by Chellamay fame Gandhi Krishna. GV Prakash Kumar has scored the music.

This is the first year death annivesary for the Ace cameraman and director Jeeva who passed away in St.Petersberg, Russia, following cardiac arrest on June 26, 2007 morning at 7.30 a.m. (Indian Standard Time). He was 44 and the unexpected loss has been a great shock to the entire film fraternity.

This eminent director-cinematographer had delivered super duper hits with 12B, Run (Hindi version), Ullam Ketkumae and Unnale Unnale. At the time of his death, Director Jeeva was shooting for a Tamil film “Dham Dhoom” with ‘Jayem’ Ravi as the hero, Kangana Ranaut, Laxmi Rai and other artists.

Jeeva was an acclaimed cinematographer-turned-director, Jeeva had worked in over 40 films starting with Malayalam films. He was the cameraman for director Shankar’s “Gentleman”, “Kadhalan” and “Indian.”

He was survived by his fashion designer wife Aneez Tanvir and two daughters, Sana Mariam and Aalia. After his death his guru, P. C. Sriram, and his widow, Aneez, have agreed to complete the “Dham Dhoom” voluntarily.
