Tributes are flowing in to Raghuvaran, “Kalaimamani” award winning actor who has died from health problems. He was one of the favorite of Rajinikanth and has acted with the superstar in many films including his recent blockbuster Sivaji.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay and wife Sangeetha, Ajith, Sathyaraj, Sarath Kumar , Radha Ravi, Vijaykanth, Manorama, Srikanth, Pandiaraj , Urvashi, Vivek are among the film personalities along Minister M.K. Stalin paid tributes to the dead actor.

Raghuvaran was survived by his ex-wife Rohini and son 8-year-old son Sai Rishi.

In a career spanning 26 years, Raghuvaran played hero, villain and character roles in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi movies. Raghuvaran’s had unique way of stylized acting and dialogue delivery.

It’s official, ‘Ultimate’ star Ajith and Shalini, one of the most beautiful couple of Tamil filmdom, finally announced the name of his baby girl yesterday at a simple function held at his Thriuvanmiyur residence amidst his close relatives and friends.

The name is Anoushka, a Sanskrit word, which means ‘one who fulfills aspires and dreams’.

Shalini delivered Anoushka in a cesarean surgery in Chennai Apollo Hospital on January, 03 2008.

Meanwhile, Ajith is busy shooting for ‘Aegan’, his next venture directed by choreographer Raju Sundaram.

The most loved villain of Tamil Cinema, Actor Raghuvaran died at a private nursing home in Chetpet on Wednesday. He was admitted in the intensive medical care unit of Mehta hospital for the past few weeks.

Raghuvaran, 59, was survived by his ex-wife Rohini and 8-year-old son Sai Rishi. He was 59 years old and has acted in several Tamil, Malyalam, Telgu and Hindi movies.

He had acted with all top actors, including superstar Rajnikanth and Kamal Hassan.

He married actress Rohini, due to misunderstandings between him and his actress wife, the court gave them divorce. However, Raghuvaran used to frequent Rohini’s house and Rohini was also visiting his house with her son.

On hearing the death news , actress Rohini visited the house of Raghuvaran. She wanted the body of Raghuvaran to be handed over to her for cremation.

His funeral will be held this evening, family sources said.

Cheran’s approach is always different from the routine stuff, which he has proved in his earlier films.
