Chennai Super Kings 24-member team launch: Photos

Chennai Super Kings announced 24-member team, led by India?s one-day international and Twenty20 captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni at the Chennai Trade Centre auditorium.

The 24-member team( list here ) will be led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the highest-paid IPL Player, and coached by Kepler Wessels.

Chennai Super Kings ’star ambassadors’ Tamil cine stars Illayathalapathy Vijay , Nayanthara, team’s brand ambassador Former India opener Krishnamachari Srikkanth were present at the glittering launch along with Dhoni.

Kamal Hassan on Dasavatharam in Mumbai tabloid interview

Kamal Hassan in an interview to Mumbai tabloid , refused to talk about the story or the 10 different roles he plays in his forthcoming film Dasavatharam and has said that the film is the costliest film in the Tamil film industry.

Kamal also denied that A.R Rahman walked out of the film, due to time constraints Dasavatharam team went to Himesh Reshammiya.
“It was just a business choice and when you see the film, you will know that it works for us. I must say that Himesh did surprise me in the first music sitting itself ” , said Kamal

Vijaykanth’s Arasangam audio launched!

Captain Vijaykanth launched the audio of his 150th film Arasangam. Movie is based on cop story.
Vijaykanth’s fans and DMDK personalities supposed to buy one lakh audios of the film to make Tamil cinema history.

Chennai Super Kings promotional video – Vijay, Nayanthara, Dhoni, Matthew Hayden and Mutthiah Muralidharan

Ad film director Rajiv Menon is in the process of making promotional music video for IPLs Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Team.

Promotional video will have mix of Cricket, Chennai and Kollywood.

Video will feature captain M.S Dhoni, opening batsman Matthew Hayden, Mutthiah Muralidharan, and Chennai Super Kings brand ambassadors Ilayathalapathy Vijay and queen of Kollywood Nayanthara.

Reliance enters Tamil film distribution with Nepali

Reliance Entertainment,( Reliance ADAG) is entering into film distribution in Tamilnadu, by purchasing the theatrical rights of Bharath,Meera Jasmine starrer “Nepali” , releasing on April 10 for Tamil New Year.

If reports are to be belived , Reliance Entertainment had purchased Nepali for Rs 1.40 Crore NSC and 90 lakhs Madurai.

Jayalalithaa, Karunanidhi in Dasavatharam ?

Dasavatharam, in which the kamal hassan plays ten characters, has a scene showing the two war of words political rivals in Tamil Nadu, M Karunanidhi and J Jayalalithaa together, with help of computer graphics.
