“Sultan: The Warrior” is a forthcoming animated movie featuring a character resembling Superstar Rajinikanth, will be the first ever full-length animated Tamil film. Rajni will himself dub for Sultan!. The film is slated to be released in 2008 and will be released in English, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.

The first part of the film was made in Belgium recently, while Rajini was present. The film is produced by Adlabs (in association with Ocher Studios) and directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth, Rajnikanth’s daughter.

Smitha, called as ‘Silukku’, became an icon of South Indian sex symbol who dominated the eighties. After acclaim with her first major role, in the Tamil movie ‘Vandi Chakkaram’, in 1979, Smitha assumed the name “Silk,” after her character’s name in the movie.

Even though Smitha appeared in some character roles, she became popular through her glamourous appearances in softcore films. Silk Smitha went on to star in over 200 Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and a few Hindi films. Thanga Thaamarai was the Silk Smitha’s last film before she committed suicide in 1996.. Due to several reasons film was not released.

Efforts are being made to release the film now. Almost after a decade after her death, her fans have the chance to see the adorable actress back on screen.

Shah Rukh Khan, son Aryan and Deepika Padukone were the celebrity guests at the 5th and final ODI between India and Pakistan in Jaipur. He was in Johannesburg to watch India Vs Pakistan Twenty20 cricket World Cup final.

London based leading Tamil film distributor Ayngaran Internationalis foraying into audios business. Ayngaran International have launched a audio company called Ayngaran audios which will debut with Ajit starrer ‘Billa’. Rajinikanth who did original Billa will launch the audio.

Billa is expected to release on December 12, the birthday of the superstar.
